A legend tells that the grapevine sprouted for the first time in the Sicilian island from the tears of thirsty Dionysus. Thus was born that nectar that the ancient god gave to men to comfort them from their efforts and to the Gods to delight their senses.

Today, thanks to the stubbornness and commitment of the consortium members of the Salaparuta DOC Consortium, that legend becomes reality: giving life to unique and innovative wines with an high ethical and sustainable value.
